A HORRIFYING NIGHT
It had been a long day. I was exhausted. It was late at night. I was walking home under the faded light of the moon and the twinkle of the stars, surrounded by the rustle of the leaves, the scent of pine trees and the silence of the neighbourhood, when I noticed a gloomy and huge shadow behind me.
Earlier that day, I walked to work hearing the wailing of sirens, beeping of horns and roaring of passers-by. As soon as I arrived at work I met Harry, an odd mate from the company, who asked me to have dinner with him that night, with a malicious look, however, I had a lot to do so I rejected the invitation.
I felt the darkness followed me when, suddenly, I turned back, but there was nothing. I kept strolling with fear, nonetheless, I still felt a queer thing was happening. I turned and again nobody there, therefore, I was so panicked that I dashed right home and went to sleep hoping to erase this memory from my mind. However, I couldn’t get out of my mind the gigantic human shadow.
Midnight arrived and horrible sounds fulfilled the house, I went down the creaking stairs to understand what was exactly happening, when I heard the door behind me bang three times, so I shrieked with fear.
Who do you think is outside the house? Was it Harry?
